Smooth Flow Backdraft Damper

The SJK Smooth Flow Backdraft Damper is designed to prevent the problem of backdraft, where air returns through the system causing unwanted air escaping from rangehoods and household vents. It also protects against the potential problem of motor burnout due to the fan being turned on while it rotates backward at speed due to backdraft.

The Smooth Flow Backdraft Damper has a patented design and superb performance characteristics. eg. at 0.1 m³/sec, the pressure loss is approximately 30Pa lower than conventional spring loaded backdraft dampers.
