TFA203E fans - Tile Fan Series

Description

The Tile Fan Series was developed to simplify the installation of roof ventilators on tiled roofs. Designed to match the Boral and Monier concrete roof tiles, installation is a simple matter of lifting out a tile and putting the fan unit in its place.

Construction

Cowls are moulded from UV stabilised plastic the bases are designed for tiled roofs. To install simply remove a tile and put the fan in its place. Steel components including fan and brackets have a corrosion resistant finish to suit arduous applications

Motors

Type - external rotor, squirrel cage induction motor.
Electricity supply - 220-240V, single-phase, 50Hz/60Hz.
Bearings - sealed-for-life, ball.
The TFA202 and 204 are speed-controllable.

Internal Thermal Protection

Auto-reset thermal contacts are supplied as standard.

Testing

Air flow tests to BS848:Part 1, 1980.
Noise data is based on tests conducted in accordance with BS848:Part 2, 1985

Special Features

Suitable for free and ducted intake installations. For ducted installations an inlet spigot is available as an optional extra.
Designed to match Boral and Monier concrete roof tiles.
Can be mounted at angles of 30°.

Suggested Specification

The roof ventilators shall be of the Tile Fan Series as designed and manufactured by Fantech Pty. Ltd.
The axial impellers shall be direct driven by external rotor motors with integral thermal contacts.
All models shall be fully tested to BS848:Part 1, 1980 for air flow. Noise data is based on tests conducted to BS848, Part 2, 1985.
