FANTECH is celebrating 15 years association with Hong Kong’s Anway Engineering Co. Ltd. in spectacular style. Anway’s most recent contract, along with premier Hong Kong mechanical and electrical consultancy J. Roger Preston Limited, involves one of the most prestigious buildings ever built – the daring, extraordinary, unusually-named Two ifc.

At 88 storeys, Two ifc – ‘ifc’ stands for the developers, International Finance Centre – is one of the tallest buildings in the world, and now the most prominent feature in the already spectacular Hong Kong skyline. Providing approximately two million square feet of prime office accommodation for professional and financial companies, it requires an extraordinary array of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, and as part of the project, J.

Roger Preston designed and Anway Engineering supplied Fantech axial fans. Anway Engineering was established in 1982 with the aim of supplying state-ofthe- art ventilation and fire smoke control equipment to Hong Kong, Macau and China.

With the increasing awareness on the importance of air cleanliness in both the indoor and outdoor environment, it expanded its line of representation to include a full range of air filtration, purification and energy conservation products, including developing a working relationship with Fantech in 1989. Under the direction of Director, Sam Yeung, and Manager, Louis Chi, it has been at the forefront of the market ever since.
