Fantech was the first fan manufacturing and distribution
company in Australia to achieve QA accreditation.
Today all EGAP manufacturing
sites are accredited under the
ISO9001: 2000 quality management
system and are working to adopt
the new ISO9001: 2014 Standard.
This is supported by a strong staff culture of continuous
improvement throughout the organisation via a process
of empowerment, education and training.
Fantech is a founding member of the Fan
Manufacturers Association of Australia and New
Zealand. The organisation was established in 2010
and works closely with government agencies in the
development of practical regulations relating to the
energy performance of air conditioning and ventilation
equipment. This work particularly relates to the
government endorsed paper ‘Improving
the Efficiency of Industrial Equipment’
and Section J of the Building Code
of Australia BCA 2010.
