The Fantech website is an information

hub allowing users to search for

products and download valuable

information. It is also the place to find

out about Fantech news and details

of new products and technologies

being launched.

Products are easily browsed and

selected by simply typing the complete

or part of a code or product name in the

search box, or searching by the

mounting type or application in which

they will be used. Fans and sound

attenuators can also be selected in

only 5 steps using the product selector,

providing the most up-to-date technical

data, performance curves, sound data

and dimensions.

Specialised product ranges such as

JetVent car park fans, Rickard VAV

diffusers and EC fans with in-built

demand control, have dedicated areas

within the website. Detailed information

explains the differences between the

various products in the range, how the

system works and its advantages along

with design examples.

customised by adding project location and name, product

designation and relevant notes before saving or printing the

page. CAD and BIM 3-D digital models of the fans can also

be downloaded from this one easy to navigate screen.

The Fantech website also includes the fan selector, a version

of the powerful Product Selection Program which allows

visitors to make fast and accurate fan and sound attenuator

selections by inputting basic product performance

requirements. The Product Selection Program will also link

back to the Fantech website where the full details of the

specific product selected can be viewed on the one screen.

Integration of Fantech’s information platforms

ensures our customers can access accurate

information about Fantech products through

the platform that best suits them. They can

move between the printed catalogue,

Product Selection Program

and website to view the latest

product details which can then

be incorporated directly

into project work

schedules.

Integrated Information

Platforms

The renowned

Fans by Fantech

catalogue is a

comprehensive resource that showcases Fantech’s vast

range of commercial, residential and industrial products

and ancillaries. It also provides the industry with valuable

information on noise and acoustics, electric motors, efficient

fan installation design and fan laws, making it much more

than just a product catalogue.

Most of the information inside this catalogue is also

available on the desktop and mobile versions of the

Fantech website,

www.fantech.com.au

. Dynamic versions

of the performance and noise data, dimension drawings and

ancillaries are also included on the extensively used Fantech

Product Selection Program. The three platforms are fully

integrated allowing consultanting engineers, building

designers and mechanical contractors to access the most

up-to-date material at any time or place.

An important addition for this version of the printed Fans

by Fantech catalogue is the inclusion of QR codes for all

fan models, Rickard VAV diffusers and FlatPack low profile

ducting. The codes can be scanned with a smart phone or

tablet for a direct link to the relevant page on the Fantech

website. Here the features and benefits of the product are

displayed along with performance curves, wiring diagrams,

dimensions and ancillaries. This information can be

INTEGRATED INFORMATION PLATFORMS

Choosing the right product

is only part of the equation in

achieving optimal performance;

it is also important to know how

the product is best installed.

The ‘Technical library’ is a highly

informative section that enables

of motor types and good installation design.

It also provides easy access to maintenance

manuals, noise and acoustic information, and

a quick weight calculator on axial flow fans.

The ‘Key Projects’ section of the website

highlights some of the iconic and unique

projects Fantech has been involved in - from

hospitals and sporting arenas to desalination

plants and tunnels. The popular TechTalk

newsletter can be easily viewed

and/or downloaded along with Fantech

literature, the Product Selection Program

and BIM 3-D digital models.

A reformatted version of the full desktop
